Communications keeps alumni and friends informed, connected and engaged by sharing meaningful updates, stories and opportunities from across the university.

- Submit alumni spotlights here
- Share the A-List sign up form: https://cu.tfaforms.net/185. The A-List is our weekly digital newsletter to alumni and friends that goes out every Monday. Have content you'd like to promote to alumni and friends in the A-list? Email alumni@uccs.edu to request a highlight in the newsletter.
- Alumni Socials: Does your division, college or department post on social media? Tag UCCS alumni or work with us to collaborate on a post for alumni and friends. We'd love to help spread the word about your events or area highlights.
- If you or colleagues from your department are alumni staff/faculty members, we encourage you to include Proud Alumnus/Alumna in your email signature to signal pride in your alma mater and employer.

How You Can Participate:
- Acknowledge the power of scholarships in the classroom.
- Share the building/space you're in (if its donor funded) that campus donors gave financially to help renovate or build the building that your classroom/office is located in.
- If you were a scholarship recipient, share your own words about how a scholarship made a difference to you.
- Talk about UCCS's Carry the Light Giving Day in the classroom or in spaces where you support students.
Volunteering
Volunteering allows alumni and friends to share their time, expertise, and talents in ways that strength programs, support students, and deepen their connection to UCCS.
How You Can Participate:
- Consider inviting alumni to your classes or your area to speak to students.

Additional Alumni Support
The Alumni Official is always excited to acknowledge UCCS alumni for their achievements. Campus partners can help facilitate alumni recognition in a number of ways:
- Invite alumni to submit their business to be featured on the Alumni Owned Business page here.
- Encourage alumni to submit a Class Note.
- Nominate an alumni volunteer for a spotlight story by emailing uccsvol@uccs.edu.
Have alumni visiting campus for a panel or speaking to students? Request an alumni swag bag that includes alumni branded items and UCCS items. You can request swag bags by emailing alumni@uccs.edu.
Have an alum update? Alumni and donor date are maintained by UCCS Advancement and Engagement. If you encounter alumni information like updated emails or career changes, send them to alumni@uccs.edu. The Alumni Office will update official records to reflect those changes.
We'd love to partner with you and support your engagement initiatives. Reach our to alumni@uccs.edu if you're interested in having a conversation about engagement. Thank you!
